Food Service

General Procedures:

• CHANGE: Meals will be FREE OF CHARGE to ALL until 12/31/2020

• All students will be required to practice hand hygiene both prior to and after eating meals.

• No sharing of food.

• Shared snacks are not allowed

• Unfortunately, this includes birthday celebrations (cannot share food)

• No snacks in elementary classrooms as students will eat breakfast and lunch within the 5 hours here at school.

• Students should bring a full water bottle to school each day to limit use of drinking fountains.

Meal Service:

• Breakfast will be delivered to all K-5 student classrooms for all K-5 students.

• Lunch will also be delivered to all K-12 students in their classroom at their scheduled lunch time (based on the count taken in the room in the morning).

• Students will be allowed to eat breakfast and lunch at their desks after washing their hands and prior to or as instruction is starting.

• No sharing of food will be allowed.

• Students who bring their own lunch must be able to open all items in their lunch box.

• 6-12 students and virtual learners who would like breakfast and/or meals for their virtual learning days can email the cafeteria at meals@lafargevillecsd.org to arrange to either come to school to pick them up or pick up a bag of meals prior to leaving on their in-person instruction day. These meals must be arranged in advance.
