Transportation

The district will transport students in accordance with the Dept. of Health, CDC, and NYSED Guidelines.

Parents are asked to transport their student(s) to school as it is the only way to ensure social distancing for your child (a survey will be sent to parents to commit to transporting their student(s) for the school year or until social distancing regulations change).

All students MUST wear face masks for the duration of transport.

Parents are to walk their children to the bus where they will have their temperature taken. Any student, per guidelines, with a temperature of 100 or higher will not be allowed to load the bus and must not return to school until receiving a negative result on a COVID-19 test.

Students will sit in assigned seats with social distancing parameters in place.

The first students on will sit in the back and be the last ones to exit as practicable.

Siblings/same household will be required to sit together.

Students must ride the same bus - no changes in bus pickup/drop-off locations will be allowed at this time. If a student typically gets dropped off at different locations, it will be the parent's responsibility to transport from other locations. The student can only have one pickup and drop off location due to the availability of seating on the bus.

No sharing of toys or other personal items.
