The IDE project for module seven uses a human-centred approach in which the team co-designs a product that supports a participant in their daily life. In this project, methods and tools to co-design will be used to then define a design challenge. The design challenge resulting from these methods helped to create a suitable product.
The project was divided into three different stages. The first phase was about research, which included a literature study and co-design interviews. This phase shifted towards the ideation phase, in which the group was working on various concepts, doing co-design workshops and conceptualisation. The next phase was about the finalisation of the product, so prototyping, detailing and creating one final concept. Consequently, the group evaluated this final design based on the requirements. To test whether most user-experience requirements were met, a user study test plan was made.
An overview of the project can be seen below. All phases are indicated, as well as various deliverables set by the University. Besides that, the group's own deadlines are shown.
