The list of requirements is listed using the MoSCoW Prioritisation Categories. The three categories used here are:
‘must have’, which means the requirement is non-negotiably necessary;
‘should have’, which indicates the requirement is important but not vital;
‘could have’, which tells the requirement is good to include but will have little impact if it is left out.
It is important to mention that this list of requirements was started on during the research phase already. Though, the requirement list altered after selection of a final concept. For this reason, this list is included at the end of phase two.
The product must have the possibility of creating appointments
The product must have a quick shortcut to creating appointments
The product must account for travel time to appointments
The product must have a manual-less pairing process
The product must effortlessly/automatically reconnect to the phone
The product must use Bluetooth technology to connect with the mobile device
The product must have a battery life of at least 24 hours
The co-designer must be able to use the product without help
The product should fit into the (daily) routine of the co-designer
The product must not require the user to recall more than three things at a time
The product must not require any user manual to properly use the main functions
This product must come with a user manual about set-up and troubleshooting
This product should only have features that do not make usage more difficult
The product must notify the user if the watch is out of range of the phone
The product must notify the user if the phone is out of range of the watch
The product must notify the user if the battery is low
This product must have IP44 Protection
This product could have shock protection
The product should fit into his style
The strap should be detachable in order to be replaced
The product must be portable
The product must weigh between 50 and 170 grams
The product should have a similar interface design to the current iOS calendar
The product should have a standard sized pin buckle strap
