Why be a Regular Joe?
"Thinking back to what St. Pope John Paul II said that during his time as Pope that it was a 'Springtime for the new Evangelization'. In many ways Men's Prayer Breakfast has realized this goal and evangelized hundreds of men. One of the least of them is me. I think of what my life was before Men's Prayer Breakfast, and how rich and abundant it is now. I thank Men's Prayer Breakfast for making me realize that it is normal for a man to pray, it is normal for men to gather and discuss their Faith, and it is normal to strive to be an intentional Disciple of our Lord."

In 1994 the Swiss carried out an extraordinary survey. The question was to determine whether a person's religion carried through to the next generation and, if so, what, if any, were the critical factors. The result of this survey was shocking as one critical factor stood out above all: the religious practices of the father determines the attendance (or absence) of the children when they reach adulthood.
Fathers who LEARN SHARE STRENGTHEN LIVE their faith are 10 times more likely to have children who grow up to be active in their faith. Mother's did not have anywhere near this same impact. If you want your children to become practicing adults in the Catholic Faith, investing some time in your faith is wise.
