In the main menu, press Assign.
This brings up your Team management window, where you can expand your team slots.
(You can change your team members from anywhere before battle, but you can only expand team slots in this window.)
Press Add Team to expand your team slots. This costs gems, and gets more expensive the more teams you already have. (It's still worth it though.)
Press the edit button next to each team to change the team name.
This team is for Story Mode, Urgent Missions, Element Exploration, and Arena NPC Battles.
Enough firepower to clear low- to medium- difficulty PvE (Preferably AOE damage for faster clears)

(Optional) DEF Down debuffer or ATK UP buffer if your firepower is low
All remaining slots filled with Piggybacking units (possibly ungeared and unleveled 4★ or 5★ units who will get free EXP and Affection)
Common Examples of such teams include:
Joyce Erica Celeste Marsha (Classic beginner PVE combo)
Joyce Erica + 2 any
Clone Dildri or any other self-healing AOE DPS + 3 any
ATK Up buffer + any AOE Nuker such as Clone Dildri + 2 any
AOE DEF Down debuffer + any AOE nuker + 2 any
Four of your geared units who are not yet Affection level 10
This team includes four (possibly ungeared and unleveled) 4★ or 5★ units who will get free EXP and Affection. Whenever you use your Quick Battle tickets, make sure to switch to and use this team.
You should switch out and change the members of this team when:
A 4★ unit reaches level 40, and you have another unleveled 4★ unit to replace them with (Crystal Farming)
A 4★ or 5★ unit reaches Affection Level 5 or 10, and you have another unit who needs to be farmed (Skillmod farming)
You have a new unit who needs to be raised, and would like to give them free EXP
You should have 1 or 2 team slots with your most farmed Hunt teams. This slot can also be used for your Event Elite stage team as well. Having your Hunt teams close to your Quick Battle team makes it easy to switch back and forth.
The details on how to build your Hunt teams can be found on the Hunt Intro page (Link).
You should have at least 1 team dedicated for PvP team building. The first team should be a "Sandbox," where you can freely switch out members based on the enemy's defense lineup.
Any additional slots can have your most commonly used team archetypes (Cleave, Countercleave, Brawl, Turtle, etc) for easy switching.
Quick Battle (QB) is a feature unlocked at Account Rank 35. It can be used to instantly clear any PvE stage that you've completed before. QB can only be used a limited amount of time per day.
QB attempts are limited, and regenerates daily. You can get UP TO 10 QB regen per day, but the regen will NOT EXCEED 10 total. If you used QB 10 times yesterday, you will get 10 today. If you only use 2 QB today, you will only get 2 tomorrow, bringing you back to 10.
Additional QB attempts can be purchased from the shop.
5 QB attempts per day for 100 Friendship Coins at the Friendship shop
10 free attempts per day for VIP 6 users, even more for VIP 9, 12, 15 users
The differences between QB and regular Repeat Battle is this:
Runs the battle in the background, your assigned team must still win the battle normally
The battle will repeat until the limit, then you must manually restart it to repeat it again
The total number of times you can use Repeat Battle in a day is unlimited
VIP level increases the max amount of repeats before you have to restart the battle manually
Limited use per day, 1 battle consumes 1 QB ticket, regens up to 10 every day
Instantly and automatically wins the battle regardless of team strength or composition
The fact that QB wins the stage automatically regardless of team composition means that you can use ANY unit in the team to give them free EXP and Affection. (Affection is explained later in this page.)
