If you're following this journey, you can expect the following.
The goal of the Hero's Journey is to get you through Earlygame quickly and efficiently.
The journey will prepare you a solid foundation to be able to farm on your own and build for PvP.
If you're not interested in PvP AT ALL (like, literally zero pvp whatsoever) then this might not be for you.
Casual gameplay around Story modes require almost no advanced tactics.
The schedule can be a bit tight. It's not "minmax hell" tight, but you'll have to sink a few hours every day.
Start a fresh account and follow one of the rerolling guides.
Choose your Rookie Sprint units and get your foundational units (Celeste, Joyce, Erica, and others).
Complete all Mercenary Quests.
Complete all Hunt stages once, and build an auto-clear team for either Red or Blue hunt.
Reach Silver or Gold in Arena.
Choose your method of account creation.
Simple Rerolling: Takes 20 minutes. 1 account only. Start with Celeste and Joyce. CLICK HERE to find the guide.
Advanced Rerolling. Can take 1~2 hours. Makes multiple accounts, rerolling a banner until you find a high-value unit. Only recommended when there is a high-value event banner going on that is worth grabbing. CLICK HERE to find the guide.
Once you are complete with the rerolling process, you should have Celeste and Joyce ready to go. Now, you can move onto DAY 1.
IF you started with Simple Rerolling:
Configure and pity the Rookie Sprint banner. Do 120 total pulls.
1 pull = 1 token. 120 tokens allow you to buy one of your chosen units from the exchange shop.
After 120 pulls, buy Erica if you haven't got her yet, otherwise buy any other unit you haven't gotten yet.
If you get all 3 units before 120 total pulls, only do 100 total pulls and buy a bond from the exchange shop.
Don't buy Erica's bond, usually one of your other two choices are better (like Chaldea's).
IF you started with Advanced Rerolling on a Regular Event Banner:
Since you already obtained the featured event unit, you don't need to pull the event banner anymore.
Then your is the same as Simple Rerolling. Configure and pity the Rookie Sprint banner. Do 120 total pulls.
Read the above section for details.
IF you started with Advanced Rerolling on a Limited Combo Banner:
You want to pity the Rookie Sprint Banner first for Erica, THEN go back and pity the Limited Combo Banner.
You will have to Finish most of Story Mode in 2 weeks to make enough tickets to pity both banners.
This is totally doable but you'll have to put a little bit of effort in every day.
You should obtain the 120 pulls needed to pity the Rookie Sprint banner within the first few days (D3~5).
If you get all 3 units before 120 total pulls, only do 100 total pulls and buy a bond from the exchange shop.
Then, go back to your Limited Combo Banner and do 120 pulls total (including the pulls you did while rerolling).
If you get all 3 units before 120 total pulls, only do 100 total pulls and buy a bond from the exchange shop.
Ask an experienced player about your bond choices since some units need specific bonds.
The best way to answer this question is to compare the value of your existing account vs a new rerolled account.
If you are "just in it for the story" and don't care about PvP, you probably don't need to restart.
However, if you have any interest in pvp, consider the value of a new account:
Your existing account
Does the account have Joyce and Celeste (from Filter banner)?
Is the Rookie Sprint banner still up or expired? Have you done any pulls (selection locked)?
What units did you get from Rookie Sprint, if any?
What other notable units (such as limited event units) do you have?
How old is the account (3 days or older? 5 days or older? Two weeks or older?)
Have you done any major mistakes, like selling your lv.75 rookie gear sets?
Have you spent any money?
Rerolled account
A rerolled account will have...
Joyce, Celeste (from Filter Recruit)
Erica, and 0~2 more 5★ units of your choice (from Rookie Sprint)
1 limited unit, if you do Advanced Rerolling on an event banner
1~3 limited units, if you do Advanced Rerolling on a limited combo banner
However, you lose all progress, including account rank, story progression, etc
