Asynchronous learning or "self-paced" learning is a learning method in which the learner is able to control how much learning material they consume as well as the amount of time they spend covering new information. Learning material is designed in structured, bite-sized chunks that allow learners to take their time and work within their scheduling limitations as they go through a course.
The advantages of self-paced learning include increased accessibility and the ability to go back and review the material as needed.
Rebisco University will launch a handful of self-paced courses this year, focusing specifically on project management. These courses will be delivered through video lessons using the Google Classroom platform.
