I was able to do a presentation for some of my Spanish classes about different easter traditions that happen in some hispanic cultures. This was really cool for me, because I was able to share about some of my own personal experience and share some of my own videos I took while I was in Spain studying abroad at my time at Trintiy.
In one of my classrooms we made papel picado and calaveras (sugar skulls) to talk about how some cultures celebrate day of the dead. The students all got to make their own in different stations after they learned about them. Here are some examples of what they looked like:
