MARKING EDITING AFFECTING IMPORTS & GENO
🥝IMPORT
Don't worry about loosing a marking!
Let's take Orca as an example of what's going to happen:
Import has Orca, but no Blanket.
The Import gains Blanket, with Orca as Carrier.
A Special Uncommon Marking Add-on is rewarded to the player.
The Player can decide if apply the Sp. Add-on to the Import who was modified or to a geno.
(You'll be able to apply it to the Import even if the Survival Core has been completed!)
🥝GENO
This can be applied to all the Genos that were created/bred before October 2026. Remember to note what changes/if some markings are lost in the Design Submission!
Here is the breakdown of what happens when a Geno with a changed Marking is submitted. Let's use Overo (nOv/OvOv) as an example:
Geno has Overo, but Overo is no longer an existing marking.
Overo has been fused/remade into Piebald.
Piebald is written in the Geno in place of Overo. If the Kai had Overo and Tobiano, two markings that were fused to make Piebald, then Piebald will be Homozygous. If the Kai had Overo, Tobiano and Sabino, it will obtain Hom Piebald and a Sp. Add-on (Uncommon in this case) will be banked.
The Player can decide if apply the Sp. Add-on to the Geno who was modified or to another Geno.
