Assignments in this course are both formative and summative in nature. Formative assignments are participation activities typically graded with a check while summative ones are evaluated with a rubric. The nature and requirements of the assignment, plus the number of students enrolled in the class, influence the amount of time required for evaluation. My goal is to assess and return your work to you as soon as possible. Often, I'm able to accomplish this very quickly. However, as a rule of thumb, one to two weeks is a more realistic timeline. All grades will be posted on iLearn. Submission process is outlined on each assignment description.
Be sure that you look at the assignment sheets and rubrics for each (major) assignment prior to completion to ensure you have met all requirements. You should also check out the Course Content Modules and Artificial Intelligence page for valuable tips and resources aligned with the assignments. Reminder: Some participation activities/assignments will be graded with a check mark for completion rather than a rubric.
Housed on this page of the summative (i.e. formal) assignments. Formative, or informal, assignments are located on the Formative Assignments page.
While I have attempted to make the checklist as complete as possible, you need to check iLearn, this page, and the Assignments-Participation page also.

The literacy framework paper examines technology integration within a literacy curriculum. With the adoption of the latest state standards technology integration has become an expectation teachers must meet in their pedagogical and methodological practices. With that in mind, write a paper exploring the integration of technology within a literacy curriculum and through the lens of PICRAT, a technology framework. As a brief introduction to PICRAT, please check out the presentation to the left. Note: You will need to research the framework in more detail than what the overview provides.
