The Outpost

The Outpost was founded by Ibrahim Nehme in 2012, this Beirut-based publication billed itself as a "magazine of possibilities". It sought to provide an honest, optimistic perspective on the Arab world during a period of intense regional transformation. It had a focus on arts, culture, politics, and social change across the Middle East and North Africa. After four years of independent publishing, the editorial team shifted gears to develop new media models and eventually launched the writing platform Kiteverse. @magofpossibilities
