Our archivist speakers will share advice and tips for resume building, cover letter writing, and the job interview process. Our speakers come from varied areas of the field, from university archives to consultancy agencies, and have experience not only successfully applying to archives-related jobs, but also hiring for those positions.

This event will help GSLIS students learn more about the range of positions in the archives field, and how to prepare yourself for applying to jobs. This event is being co-organized with the Archivists Roundtable of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (A.R.T), and participants will also get a chance to hear about the benefits of participating in professional organizations.
