Covington School perhaps 1920 - 21 My dad ( John Hope ) standing front of lady teacher Left side of photo and his older sister ( Annie Hope ) back row 4th from right with bow​on her hair ,Annie born 1910 dad born 1913 The following further information has been supplied. Third boy from the lady is Eric Watson, the boy on his left is an Angus. The chap on the seat is Stanley Watson. The girl in the centre of​the back row is Mrs. Robertson I think her maiden name is Hardie.

Covington Primary School had a long history of producing Kinderspieles - a German term for Children's Plays or Games. Here we have a selection of photos which have come to light but I imagine there were many more over the years. Popular in the Victorian era the term was actually dropped for patriotic reasons during WW1.
