The Day of the Arts Fest

🟡 The Arts Fest runs from 10:00 to 5:00, September 14, 2024. 🟡

This is 3 hours longer than 2022, which is what many artists asked for, but it leaves less time to set up, concentrating set-up activities, so you may have to contend with more traffic during set-up. Please plan accordingly, and be kind to your fellow artists.

⏰ Arrival and Set-up Times

I don't really care when you arrive. Just keep in mind that the show starts at 10:00 and plan accordingly. The arts fest grounds are not secure and the church is used for so many different activities that we can't set up the night before. Please set up with thoughtful consideration of your neighboring artists. It is easy to focus on all the work that needs to get done in a short time, forgetting that the art around you may be very fragile and your neighbors are in just as much a rush as you are.

🚛 Unloading

Pull up right in front to unload. No space is very far, but I will bring a couple of dollies to speed set-up. If you see one kicking around, feel free to use it (also the flat furniture mover kind.) You may arrive when many others also arrive, so be prepared to share.

🚙 Parking during the event

You will see there is a lot of parking, but leaving the closer spaces for visitors is both kind and good business. The areas just infront of the church is the church parking lot. The longer area stretching toward 280 is called the professional center. Once you have everything you need out of your car, please park it at the far end of the professional center lot instead of in the church parking lot.

⛳️Your spot

The arts fest takes place in a small area, so you will easily find your spot. Spots are numbered on the site plan and on-site. You are responsible for any table display signs which you may need including your own name, but we will supply a personal name tag for you to write your name on. If you don't find one in your packet in your spot, there should be extras on the entrance table.

🛰Wi-Fi📡

Cell coverage is fine, but wifi is consistent. Feel free to use the Ladera Community Church network if you like. It is the same as last year. You will recieve the password in your materials in your booth if you don't already have it stored.

🚽Restrooms🧼

Once you get close to the main doors to the church, you will see signs for the restrooms just up the stairs to the right. There is also a stair-free, all-gender restroom just inside the church.
