Riding the waves as a supervisor. options during a challenging time

claudia mühlbauer

In the pandemic situation a lot of things have changed – including our psychodramatic work. That means supervision has been modified too. The changes concern the frame (e.g. meetings were cancelled or took place online, groups were divided), the content (e.g. how to deal with the risk and the fear), the expectations of the supervisees, the meaning of supervision and my self-concept. As psychodramatists we believe in encounter and role exchange as some of our strongest instruments. How can we handle them online? Maybe we even see some positive effects as realizing that we have learned a lot during this stormy times.

In the workshop I would like to provide my experiences and reflections and have an exchange with colleagues who offer supervision and/or participate in supervision. I hope to explore together (hopefully offline) can be helpful and supporting in a professional and personal way.
