The Twistex Tower probe is very unique in its own way. This is my personal favorite probe, due to the design and how it stands out more than the other probes. This probe has one anemometer, an orange base, a mesonet, a humidity sensor, and orange smoke. This probe is used to capture vital information in the funnel inside the tornado. Surprisingly, this probe has a very aerodynamic design, letting wind pass through easily without getting lofted.

However, the Twistex Team passed away; all three died by being lofted inside the 2013 El Reno tornado. This probe was retired in 2013 due to the death of the team. Twistex used many other instruments, such as the mesonet on top of their vehicles, mesonets are used to measure windspeed. Some features that keep it grounded during high wind speeds are how this probe has a heavy metal base, the aerodynamic branch design, and I don't know, that's all I can think of :/
