INTO THE STORM

Into the Storm is a realistic fiction movie made by Todd Garner. This movie was released on August, 8, 2024 in the United States. This movie is based on Pete, who is a storm chaser that uses the TITUS to storm chase. A large supercell thunderstorm rolls into a town. During a high school graduation, tornado sirens go off. Pete, and his crew who was originally attempting to capture footage of the tornado, instead try to save a high school from a large wedge EF-5 tornado. 

During the middle of the movie, many rope twisters tear across a car parking lot. The cars that are being tosses around by the multiple violent rope twisters ignite, this causes the rope twisters to blow up in flames forming fire whirls. (the fire whirl part is unrealistic) The team take shelter in a church while one team member with a camera stays outside and gets burned and lofted by the twisters. Back to the Pete and his team with the large EF-5 tornado, Pete and his team has nowhere to go. Therefore Pete's team takes shelter in an underground sewage system. However, Pete stays in the TITUS and deploys. The Titus's grapple hooks on to the gate closing the the shelter. Pete in his Titus, intercepts the first half of the tornado witnessing the eye of the tornado. When Pete passes through the eye, the Titus gets lofted and Pete witnesses the top of the storm. (which is also inaccurate)
