Background Information:
This is a photo of my aunt Elaine (Summers) Horejs when she was 2-years-old. The photo was taken in 1957 and as you can see there is some wear and tear.
Design Thoughts:
Design Thoughts:
For this project, there was no consideration for design. The tools we were learning about dealt with photo restoration and how to use camera raw.
Photoshop:
Photoshop:
Used a high definition scanner to create a JPEG image with a large pixel count.
Used Spot Healing Brush tool to eliminate white blotches on image.
Used Clone Stamp tool to recreate the child's damaged teeth.
Was able to lighten up the image and decrease the amount of shadow.
