I have participated in a national rocket competition for 11 years, 8 of which produced national winners. The partnership includes Homer Hickam, the author of October Sky (Rocket Boys), and other novels.
I have been a Certified BrainPOP Educator for 6 years and have conducted trainings locally, at district level, in other districts (Orange County), and nationally at the FETC Conference.

I trained all 9th grade teachers, ELL teachers, and all students how to use Learning Ally. The ELL class has really found it useful for their non-English speaking students.
As a member on the FLDOE FINDS Committee, I helped design these resources along with revising and aligning BEST Standards. We presented them at the FAME Conference in December and I trained all district media specialists in January.
