Introduction to Deliverable 2

In Deliverable 2, I will produce self promotional materials such as: Logos, Business cards, create my brand identity and customer profile. I will also need to produce a CV which I have already done and produce a portfolio.

Advantages:

Reaches a larger number of people
Reaches a younger demographic

Disadvantages:

Might now reach older demographic
Not very interactable
Easily ignorable

Print-

Advantages:

Not very easily ignorable
Reaches all demographics

Could be become annoying

Planning

Must Have

This project must have a final design for my business card and logo and a idea for my brand identity.

Should Have

Logo and business card thumbnails and developed designs.

Could Have

A animated logo but will probably not be included.

Will Not Have

A complicated final design as I do not have the drawing skills necessary.

My Brand Identity

At the moment I don't really have a brand aesthetic so I think I will go with a professional basic aesthetic until I have decided the colour palate will be yellow and dark blue to represent happiness and calmness.

Final Logo Design

I decided to go with a mix of the final developed logo design and a design mark provided me with this is the result I think it could've been better but I ran out of time in the end and I regret it as I could have made it a lot better for example I could of shaded it added additional flames etc. But I am still happy with the design i ended up with as it a development from my logo and is unique.

Final Buisness Card

I didn't have a lot of ideas for my final design of this card so I decided to combine the two developments of that I had already completed I'm am not to pleased with the result there is lots of room for improvement but I just ran out of time. I could've added more colour, texture etc. So overall i am not happy. I have created two variants and I think it looks better without the golden ratio I am more happy with these.

Production Log

From the logo thumbnail to the first developed logo design I have added colour and cleaned up the design a bit and from logo thumbnail to the second developed logo design I have added colour and detail to the design.

From the business card thumbnail to the developed design I have added black borders one of my initials in the aperture and from the business card thumbnail to the second developed design I have made it more resemble golden ratio and included my name.

Examples Of my Photography

These are the types of photos I like to take I like to capture photos of natural environments or photos involving the different ways the sky looks I like how beautiful nature can look how amazing places look in certain atmospheres I take a lot of photos on my phone when I find something that would make a good photo I also appreciate when a scene in a film looks like a artistic photo so one is a screenshot from a previous project. Overall this is the type of photography I like to do.
