All submissions must be made for and related to our group to be eligible for earnings. We do not allow submissions of artwork/writing that was made for another group.
You can use the check boxes below to calculate the amount you can earn from an art piece.
Optionally, you can screenshot your results on this page to send in with your submissions-- we will verify that it is correct and your earnings will be processed much faster.
Huge thank you to Squid for making this calculator possible!
Select a box in each category that applies to your piece. You may find the requirements for each category below.
Select any applicable bonuses, also as per the guide or if indicated to do so.
The total earnings will be displayed at the bottom.
The total is subject to change at moderator discretion.
⭐ Comic panels are counted individually, backgrounds must be unique to be counted more than once.
⭐ You may complete the boxes in the drop-down for additional characters. We have provided multiple for your convenience, and they will all be added to the grand total.
⭐ For feral Pokémon, mark them as "simple" for size, then fill out the rest as usual.
✔️ If you are unsure what applies to your piece, just ask, or just let the mods handle it entirely.
✔️ Should you disagree with a mods evaluation of your piece, say something. We're pretty flexible, and willing to listen.
❌ Do not select more than one box in each category.
❌ Do not try to cheat or take advantage of the system.
Headshot (+3) - Features the head of the character, typically excluding anything below the shoulders
Bust (+5) - Features a quarter of the character, typically excluding anything below the armpits.
Half Body (+7) - Features half of the character, and may include limbs.
Full Body (+10) - Features a majority of the character, if not all of it. Includes chibi-styled drawings of this sizing.
Simple (+3) - Characters that have very simple designs and are not drawn with much detail.
Rough Sketch (+2) - A rough sketch, construction lines may still be present. It has not been cleaned up.
Clean Sketch (+4) - The character is still sketched yet noticeably cleaner than a rough sketch. There are no construction lines present, but it is not quite polished enough to be considered lineart.
Lined (+8) - Clean linework is present and no sketch lines are visible.
Lineless (+6) - Drawing is self-contained without linework present, but is obviously not a sketch.
Uncolored (+0) - No color or only a single color has been applied to the piece. Pieces with just a gradient or colored overlay and no additional colors may also fall into this category.
Rough Color (+2) - Features uneven, sketchy, or unfinished colors that commonly spill outside of applicable borders.
Clean Color (+6) - Flat colors cleanly contained within the lines.
Painted (+10) - The colors are painted / rendered in, texture apparent.
Unshaded (+0) - There is no evident shading within the drawing.
Simple (+6) - Shading may appear in one or two places, but is not visible throughout the entire piece. One layer of gradient also counts as minimal shading.
Complex (+8) - The drawing is consistently shaded, and may be influenced by one or more sources of light.
None/Misc (+0) - Features a transparent, gradient, or photographed background. Among these may also be simple frames or works that use a premade brush.
Simple (+3) - Contains self-made, repeating designs or abstract backgrounds. It does not depict a prop or a scene, but something such as a sky with clouds would qualify.
Props (+6) - These types of backgrounds can consist of several elements in the background, but don't fully make up an environmental scene. The category can also be used for grounding props or held objects.
Scene (+8) - A distinct, fully illustrated setting that depicts foreground, middle ground, and/or background objects.
Polish (+2) - It's clear that extra time was spent on this piece to make it extra nice.
Career (+2) - The piece depicts your character preforming a task related to their chosen career.
Event (+3) - The piece depicts your character preforming a task related to a group event.
Gift (+2) - This artwork is a gift for another member! You get a small bonus for taking the time to draw for someone else <3
Submissions have the ability to earn a small bonus depending on the context in which they are created. Pieces that depict your character participating in their respective career(s) or participating in an event are both eligible for a bonus. If you draw a stand-alone image of someone elses character, it can be considered a gift, and your kindness will earn you a bonus. Polish is when you, or the moderators evaluating the piece, determine that extra effort was put in to make something special.
None of the bonuses are large, but its a small way for us to both thank and encourage your participation.
