Assistive Technology

Academic accommodations may include the use of electronic textbooks, which can be read aloud to students with electronic devices or computer software, such as NaturalReader, a text to speech reader which allows the user to listen to PDF files, web pages, e-books, e-textbooks, office documents and even printed books. When it is determined that electronic textbooks are an appropriate accommodation, students may request alternative formats of their textbooks from our office.
