INTRODUCTION

After speaking with Rian, a young female Miqo'te from the far east, the Heroes have decided to find another missing friend, Elaut.

They board the airship, the Desert Rose, and set sail towards Kugane, located in the far lands of Hingashi.

HINTS AND CLUES

• This is the first event in a four part series. Event 2.4: Into the Woods will be the next event.
• This event will be the travel from Gridania to Kugane.
• This event will take place in Limsa Lominsa, ship docks, on the ship that was used before. This is to ensure those who have yet to unlock Heavensward can participate. It will be IC'ly be an airship.
• It will be similar to the event 2.1, where the Heroes sailed on the Horizon to the island.
• This will be mostly social roleplay with a few surprises.

EVENT SUMMARY

The heroes have boarded the airship, the Desert Rose, located in Gridania. They spread around the ship as the crew works to get the airship ready to fly.

After the Captain gets the okay from Ezera, the Desert Rose lifts off the ground. Some of the heroes are nervous about flying or visiting the far eastern lands.

As the ship reaches the proper altitude, the ship lurches forward as the engines roar forward.

Mostly of the trip is peaceful. The heroes gather as Rian explains what she knows about where they will be going and what they will encounter after Rose asks about the plan of action.

Rian goes on to explain that they will be traveling to the Golmore Jungle, where she lives with her master. Her master found Elaut, unconscious, near their home and brought him to their home to recover.

Upon waking up, Elaut spoke with them about his mission to find his father, and how it feels that he is really close to finally finding him. However, in that night, Elaut fled the home to return to looking for his father. He felt his father was very close.

Rian was sent by her master to Gridania to find his friend, Mylysia so they could help Elaut.

She explained that the Golmore Jungle is a dangerous place for those who are prepared. However, since Elaut is hurt, it could be deadly. Within the jungle, large snakes, marlboros, hellhounds, diresaur, and wyrm lurk within the forest. Poisonous plants are everywhere as Rian alerted the heroes not to touch something they are not familiar with.

When asked about her master, Rian explained to the heroes that she is a student of her master, learning about hunting, tracking, fighting, and surviving, while living in peace with the woods.

While she was explaining all this, Kure felt something off in the aether, as if something was watching them. However, it was far away and did not feel dangerous or evil.

After a short time, it faded away. But the concern lingered over the heroes, as Naran decided to look around.

The Desert Rose arrived in Kugane as the sun sets. Some heroes left to explore the eastern city and some remained on the ship.

In the morning, they would head towards Rian's master's house, to where the hunt would begin.
