INTRODUCTION

When Ezrah, Nahli, and Master Peye searched the Horizon, they found several small treasures; a compass, many small strange coins, and other artifacts. Master Peye, through researching and contacting his friends, believes that he can find the island that held the wealth of ages.

Master Peye began to put together a plan to travel to the island that holds the Ash Jewel.

Now, many months later, the voyage is set. The ship is ready. What will the heroes find when they find the island of legend?

Hints and Clues

• This is a two part event series. While the events will not all occur on the same day, they will all take place in character on the same day as the last event.
• This event will take place on the ship in Limsa Lominsa that has been used as the Horizon in the past.
• A majority of this event will be social, random role play; doing things aboard the ship.
• There will be rolls required at various points in the event that the party will be asked to do a roll for. Depending on the rolls, the outcome will vary.

EVENT SUMMARY

The heroes arrived at Limsa Lominsa docks to board the Horizon. Master Peye greeted the heroes and led them aboard the ship. The Horizon left the dock and set sail for the Ash Island.

The skies were clear and the sun shone brightly in the sky. The heroes stayed on the deck and watched.

During the trip, a large sting ray and a large sea horse visited the ship. Some of the heroes were wary, and some were excited to see the large sea creatures. They appeared friendly, however, the sea horse blew water at the heroes.

Later on, two Sahagin boarded the Horizon. With weapons drawn, the Sahagin threatened the heroes and demanded they leave. A battle broke out, and the heroes were able to force the Sahagin into retreat.

After the battle, the ship approached a thick fog. Master Peye wouldn't be deterred, and so the Horizon pressed on into the fog. The fog was so thick, the heroes could only see about a yalm in front of them. Strange sounds were above the heroes. It sounded like birds flapping their wings. Ghostly whispers echoed around the heroes. "Death", "Pain", "Terror", "Lies", "Fire", "Ash", "Evil", "Evil", "Evil."

The fog began to lift after the whispers stopped and the noises above left. The ship suddenly stops as the Horizon pulls into a strange dock.

The heroes begin to depart the ship and explore the Ash Island.
