Event: 1.3: The Healer

Introduction:

The Heroes are gathered in the Roost located in Gridania. While resting after another adventure, a young female Miqo'te, Dehve Xelko, walks into the room.

She spots the heroes and walks over. As she waves to the group, she says "Hello, I need your help. I'm from the Red Rooster Stead in Lower La Noscea and we have a bit of a pending epidemic there. Some virus has started to take hold of the people there. I was sent here to find someone to aid us."

Will the Heroes go and help these people?

Hints and Clues

• The number of sick people will depend on how many attend the event.
• The Heroes will learn that there are two ways to heal the people in Red Rooster Stead. If they are healers, they can apply their arts to healing people. This will take an hour to fully heal everyone. There will be several rolls that the healer will have to do to be successful. The difficult will go up as the healer gets tired.
• The Heroes, who cannot heal, will be able to help. The 'medical expert' is an old man who knows of a possible cure. He will ask the Heroes to gather several ingredients that he can make into a soup to heal the people.
• The ingredients needs are as followings: 10 Dodo Tenderloins, 5 Jellyfish Cnida, and 10 Cans of Night Milk. The Dodo meat can be gathered from the Dodos north of Red Rooster Stead. The Jellyfish Cnida can be gathered from the Bloodshore Bell near Costa del Sol. The cans of night milk comes from the Large Buffalo near Costa del Sol.
• If the Heroes will save everyone if they gather all the materials or have a healer cure everyone.

IC Information Gained

• The Heroes will learn that the people started to get sick a few days when a ship came in from Sweetbloom Pier, through Moraby Drydocks.
• The ship dropped off several boxes of goods and left. However, none of the people recall ordering or paying for the boxes of goods.
• The boxes would be behind the building and they have the remains of a dark magic over them.
