Meet Bev - She is our Senior in Nursery. She has supported our nursery through our Care inspectorate with all 5s (very goods). We are so grateful for all her hard work! She is always working hard and coming up with new ideas to support our staff and children.
Lisa has joined us this session and she has fitted into the team so well. We are very lucky to have her and our children have welcome her in like an old family member.
We are extremly lucky to have some experienced staff, who have been with us for a number of years! They are local to the town and love getting the children out and about in our community! They come up with creative and wonderful ways to ensure all our children are getting the based learning possible, while ensuring everyone feels loved and welcome in our nursery.
Donna - Donna has recently become a GrandPawent to her wonderful dog. She loves to tell us all about them and absolutely adore to see her pictures and videos. Donna loves to be outside with the children and loves making a mess!
Amy has 2 beautiful children, so not only is she busy in school but she then goes home and looks after more! She is dedicated and works hard and is so creative with the learning experiences.
Jen - Jen is one of the most caring people we have ever met. If you looked up selfless in the dictionary -she would be there... but she can talk and she loves to engage the children in all types of chat and discussion
Caroline has worked with Central for a number of years. She splits her time with another setting and we get all the benefits and her learning from this. She is always laughing with our children (and staff). She is creative and fun and loves messy play
Iona is our EEL and we are lucky to have her in our setting. She is a familiar face at our under 5 group on a Friday morning, which has become a staple and something our families, and the whole community, look forward too and rely on. It has been instrumental in breaking down barriers, welcoming people into our school and building connections. We are grateful that we get her skills and support!
Take a look around our lovely nursery! We are lucky to have staff who work so hard to ensure we have a quality setting!
Our children love getting outdoors and our staff ensure they are out in all weather! We always have outdoor gear for them if they need!
We are very proud of our most recent Care Inspection report. Our entire staff work tirelessly to ensure we continue to grow and improve the experiences and outcomes for all our children.
Communication in nursery:
Our dedicated team ensure communication is a top priority in our nursery setting as we understand the importance of working together with families and us all supporting one another. All our staff are approachable and are always on hand should you want to chat with them.
There is always staff members on the door to chat about the child's day and we use Learning Journals to communicate what children have been learning about, while allowing us the ability to track their learning through milestones and experiences and outcomes.
We also have our closed facebook group that gets updated daily. Please asked Bev or Lis to add you if you are not already on it.
Please find a parent's guide to learning journals. If you have any questions, please get in touch we would be more than happy to help and support.
