The LGSF-SBDP is the National Government’s priority program to assist in the development and delivery of basic services in identified conflict-affected areas that fell behind caused by the CPP-NPA Terrorists.

The Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) is one of the major initiatives of the national government under Executive Order No. 70. The SBDP aims to deliver basic services and social development projects to beneficiary barangays that need tangible government interventions due to the previous influence of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs). The projects under SBDP include construction of farm-to-market roads, health stations, school buildings, water and sanitation systems, rural electrification, and social services such as agricultural and livelihood trainings and projects and immediate cash assistance to individuals and families.
