DILG VI Regional Director Juan Jovian E. Ingeniero, CESO IV, together with the DILG Negros Occidental Provincial Director Teodora P. Sumagaysay, FAD Chief Maria Eleanor T. Antiquiera, LGMED Chief Maricel M. Bechayda, PDMU Chief Anthony Ian G. Andaleza, and Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson, led the release of cheques to the 2022 SGLGIF Awardees last January 17 at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol, Bacolod City.

Through the SGLGIF, the DILG places a high priority on the promotion of effective and honest governance, particularly at the local level, through an intensive campaign on transparency, accountability, participation, and delivery of service.
