The DILG Project Development and Management Unit VI spearheaded the orientation on the Local Budget Circular 150 (LBC 150) today, April 4th, at the Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City and for the Municipal participants, via the Zoom platform.

Attendees composed of DILG VI Regional and Provincial Offices personnel as well as representatives from the Barangay Local Government Units (LGUs) of Western Visayas were briefed on the guidelines on the release and utilization of the Local Government Support Fund - Financial Assistance to LGUs (LGSF - FALGU) and Support for Capital Outlays and Social Programs under the FY 2023.

Resource persons from the Office of Project Development Services (OPDS), the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) provided technical assistance to the LGUs with the aim of pushing for the digitalization of project implementation processes and other Barangay government initiatives as part of the devolution of power to the LGUs.
