This section will cover the two IGD trainings and why they are important if you would like to get your self involved within Gang RP within your time in the MPS. Make sure you fully understand what you can and cant do with and without these trainings as doing the wrong stuff can lead to a punishment.
What is the IGD training
The IGD training is created by CID Command to make sure that all members of the MET know what they have to do if they have a member of a criminal organisation in their custody and how to gather intel from that member. This training is NOT a mandatory training for most however it becomes mandatory if a officer would like to apply for CID or TRIDENT Support. This training can be carried out by any CID Detective Inspectors and A list off all CID Inspectors can be found in the CID-Info channel within the MPS discord.
What are the two types of IGD training
There is two types of IGD trainings the first one is Basic IGD training which can be done by anyone on the met and allows the officer to interview a suspect if they are apart of a criminal organisation. The second is Advanced IGD training which is only limited to CID, TRIDENT, TRIDENT Support and CTSFO this allows them to question a suspect, be present at interrogations and have access to the /policecamera command.
Basic IGD training
Benefits of Basic IGD training.
Is the first step to becoming involved gang RP showcasing your interest in becoming TRIDENT, CID or TRIDENT Support.
Get more involved in the PD side of gang RP.
Can interview suspects to gather intel.
Allows for you to apply for CID and Trident support.

Benefits of Advanced IGD training.
Question suspects from organised crime organisations
Can see intel forms which have been made by other officers
May attend operations
Ability to use /policecamera
May attend interrogations however they can NOT harm the suspect or take lead in the interrogation
