Breaching a building is something you may have to do as your time as an officer, Building breaches are primarily done by members of SCO19 or divisional command however you may be asked to assist dependent on the amount of suspects and officers on scene linked below will be the full breaching handbook but here are some key points to consider whilst breaching a building.
Give the suspect 2 Warnings to surrender themselves otherwise you will be breaching with lethal force.
Are there any hostages in the building? If there is, you must ask them to bring them to the front of the building so you can negotiate for their lives.
What weapons the suspects have(Melees,Phase1/2/3)
How many suspects are inside(You can use NPAS or Drones to figure out how many people are inside the building your wanting to breach)
Scene containment As a lower ranking officer you may be asked to set up scene containment to ensure they don’t try and leave the building or other people do not get involved.
How many entry/exit points there are on the building and if you have enough officers to safely cover all the entry/exit points.

The situation may arise where a joint operation is brought together following the detainment and arrest of a known criminal where officers believe their property including vehicles and houses may be linked with crime, criminal activity or an investigation. Once certain parameters are met, CMG Founders, Gold Command and CO-1, CO-2 & CO-3 may authorise a house warrant giving the Police Department the power to gain entry and seize and property of the suspect.
This house raid once authorised will be conducted by SCO-19 however other officers may be asked to help with containment and securing the scene; control traffic and pedestrian access and transportation.
