“I can" evaluate various sources regarding misinformation about Japanese-Americans during WWII and the influence the media had on the general public.

Overview:

In this unit, students will understand how propaganda and public opinion shape viewpoints. They will be able to avoid bias traps and media influence from media organizations and public figures.The students will accurately differentiate between misinformative sources, and their intended audiences, and reliable and historical sources.
