Place and Displacement in the American West:
A Proficiency Based Education Exploration in Montana Schools
The purpose of this Unit is to explore a brief moment in history about the Japanese Americans via Executive Order 9066 (1942) and Native Americans via the Indian Appropriations Act (1851).
Both resulted in the loss of land, the loss of rights, and the loss of identity due to the United States Government policies.
