Here is the rubric for the PBE Learning Standards

PBE Unit PlanUnit Plan: Week 1: Monday: Students will be given a brief overview on how to correctly annotate sources to use later in their presentations. Students will then choose one for the books from the PBE resources to relate their assessment to. Since each resource is different, students will be reading at their own pace but all have the same deadline. Tuesday-Thursday: Students will be given class time to read and annotate their books as they will be starting their research the next week. Week 2: Monday: We will have an overview of the difference between primary and secondary resources using an interactive presentation from NEARPOD. Students should have their book completely annotated and read at this point. I will go through and approve everyone's annotations and give them permission to start researching sources. Tuesday-Thursday: Students will use class time to find and gather sources for their presentation that relates, supports, and explains their book further. Week 3: Monday: Students will be given their options on how to present their understanding. They will be given the options of posters, powerpoints, papers, or a speech to share their understanding of the content they have researched. Tuesday-Thursday: Students will be given class time to create their project and ask guiding questions for their assessment. Week 4: Monday-Thursday: Each student will present their findings, sources, and research to the rest of their classmates. Each student should present for at least 10 minutes. During this time, students are expected to listen to their peers, the teacher will be grading using the rubric above, and the presenter is expected to give their information in a formal way.
