$520 stipend based on completion of grant participation
Up to $550 in classroom resources used to differentiate resources for PBE-aligned unit
Proficiency-based education text: Proficiency-Based Instruction: Rethinking Lesson Design and Delivery
2-Day Professional Development Trip to Cody, WY on November 6-7
structured professional development related to your PBE unit at Heart Mountain Interpretive Center and/or the Buffalo Bill Center of the West
unstructured time to explore resources and exhibits at both places
grant pays for all expenses: two days of sub pay, travel reimbursement, hotel, food, and museum admission
Expectations for Grant Participation:
Attend four one-hour meetings in September and October. Meetings are 6:30-7:30pm via zoom.
Design proficiency-based education unit related to the topic 'Place and Displacement in the American West' - this can be a re-working of an existing unit
Identify differentiated resources for your unit - briefly explain why you have chosen what you have. Add this document to your page on our site.
Work with authentic audiences to showcase student work from PBE aligned unit
Post PBE-aligned curriculum materials on this Google site
