Foreword...
-----
It is very important, indeed, for the artist to practice copying 3D form...; as opposed to copying just 2D 'flat' forms...such as photos/drawings/the TV/frozen video stills/-etc.
If you only were to practice copying just 2D 'flat' forms, alone...; then, you might find it very difficult, indeed, when trying to draw 'real life' forms...which are, in actual fact, 3D.
In other words, the artist must know how to be able to successfully translate 3 D form onto a 2 D 'flat' sheet of paper; and, this skill is acquired only after having gone and done truly sufficient practice.
For this reason, I like nothing better than to go out either into the streets of London/or else, go and visit seeing inside of galleries/museums...where it's possible to copy from 3D sculptures...especially, 'master' works...from which, I think, its possible to learn far more.
-----
NOTE(1): It's also possible, of course, to buy either full size/or else, 'miniature' sculptures/ornaments...which it's possible to both store/learn how to draw from at home.
NOTE(2): If a particular sculpture 'inspires' me enough to wish to learn how to draw it better; then, I will return back to repeatedly draw it, again and again...; only stopping when I feel I've got it right...; otherwise, I just keep on trying...

NOTE: I have a lot of problems when it comes to learning how to draw this particular sculpture. The guy who created it is a 'master' of muscle/form...including, hair, head, neck, arms, hands, body, legs, feet...myself, as an 'amateur', I really am not too sure where exactly do all of the muscles/form goes...so, all I can do is just merely guess...?! My endless failures...sort of 'inspired' me to keep trying to go copy, again and again...until when I can get 'one' to work out right...but, not quite yet, I'm afraid!
Autistic people, like myself...when we encounter a problem...that we are, seriously, interested in learning to conquer...we don't just give up too very quickly or easily...even if it takes a long lifetime of just doing ever constant practice...not until when we do, eventually, get it...only, then, can we stop.

Foreword...

These are my home based 'miniature' sculptures/ornaments...which I tend to practice copying from...especially, when I'm not in the mood to go out/or, visit seeing galleries/museums/-etc.; many of which I brought from my local 2nd hand store called: Emmaeus(homeless charity).
