Howard Connect Academy is a new middle school in Hamilton County. This is it's 3rd year being open, it's 1st year having all three grades of students, and it's 1st year having a Media Specialist / Librarian. That's me! There was no library and no space for a library, but there was a solid collection of donated books in their Book Nook, thanks to some of the teachers who donated their classroom libraries. My mission for year 1 has been to focus the collection to this group of students, to purposefully build up the collection as much as possible, to organize and advertise what's here, and catalogue the books so that we can keep account of them.
