Radio Jockey:
On 7th February 2025, I participated in the Excel Expression event, specifically the Radio Jockey (RJ) competition, held at Shishuvihar. Preparing for the competition involved selecting a topic, writing a script, and adding music, songs, or other elements to make the presentation engaging. While preparing, it was important to keep the tone light and to imagine the audience while presenting.
During the competition, I presented on winter types of people and the wedding season. There were 22 participants, and the judges were RJ Toshali and Ishita Ma’am. Many participants chose topics like movies, music journeys, and seasonal experiences. The judges provided feedback on common challenges, such as topic selection, scriptwriting, continuity, and maintaining appropriate tone and speed while speaking.
On the whole , the competition offered a clear understanding of RJ-style presentations, audience engagement, and practical aspects of public speaking. It was an interesting and informative experience that gave insight into effective presentation techniques.

On 20th February 2025, I participated in a singing competition organized by N.C. Gandhi & B.V. Gandhi Mahila Arts & Commerce College under the title Mahila Sugam Sangeet Spardha. I secured 4th rank in the competition. This was my first time participating in such a competition, and performing with instruments was a completely new and exciting experience for me.
I performed one of my most favorite songs, 'ચોમાસુ આસપાસ છે' by કવિ શ્રી તુષાર શુક્લ. This experience enhanced my confidence and provided valuable exposure to competitive music performances.
Intercollege Quizzes on Ramcharitmanas:
I had the opportunity to participate in an inter-college quiz on Ramcharitmanas by Tulsidas, organized by Smt. N.C. Gandhi and B.V. Gandhi Mahila Arts and Commerce College, where I secured the first rank for two consecutive years, in 2018 and 2019. The quiz focused on selected Kandas (books) from the original text, and participants were given time to study them before taking part in the live competition.
The event included multiple rounds, with all participants seated on the dais, answering questions asked by external judges. The quiz took place in front of a large audience, as the college primarily consists of girl students.
Being part of such quizzes has been a valuable experience, allowing me to engage more deeply with mythology. Similar competitions were a part of my school years, and they have remained an important part of my learning journey.
