To get started setting up your group sessions, log into your Zoom account
Click on your profile (upper left hand corner)
Locate your Personal Link and click "Customize" to change the end of your Zoom Room URL to your name.

Students can go to your PAL Group page, the Student Hub, or the Success Center Canvas site to enter the Zoom Room for your session
Please advise your students to arrive a few minutes early if possible. When they click on the Zoom Room, they will first be prompted to fill out this form.
Please remind them of this important first step, and be sure to include a video tutorial on your group home page.
Zoom has many easy to use, interactive features including screen share, chat, "nonverbal feedback," whiteboard, and break out rooms. For an overview of some of these features, check out this tutorial or one of the many others on using Zoom features.

You can use Zoom or other free software to record short videos for your class. These could include your image (which is a great way to humanize and personalize your videos!). You could also record your computer screen. Check out the tutorials below:
Windows Game Bar: Do you have a PC? Check out this video that shows you how to use a common windows program to record a screen cast on your computer.
You Tube Live: You tube live is an easy an effective way to connect with students on a platform they are familiar with! :) You can link students to your live channel or record a video and then link them later. Either way, it an effective recording method that's easy to use.
Screencastify is a simple video screen capture software (aka. screencast recorder) for Chrome. It is able to record all screen activity inside a tab, including audio. You must use Chrome to use this software.
