My Stages of abstraction are based after my object, my guitar. The Realistic form is just my guitar, I painted, with the slight abstraction, I took more creative liberties and modified the original, adding new ideas, and the complete abstraction is the pieces of the guitar strewn and distorted. I chose my guitar because music is something that can come in many forms, such as abstraction, and I thought as of it like a metaphor. In this piece, I used acrylic, which I got to get more practice doing and I learned a lot more about the medium.
