Man vs Nature

My piece is centered around the idea of culture, and environments, being plants, and animals, that we live in. How do these things factor into how we are as individuals and set us apart from other people on this globe. A lot of my inspiration comes from collage artist, Hanna Höch, and some pages of my grandpas old National Geographic magazines. It was a challenge to work on a 3d surface with a mixture of materials, but I made it work. I think that the use of materials makes the piece work.
