Deconstruction of David

Deconstruction of David

Medium(s): Spray paint, Stencil, Canvas

In this piece, I wanted to take apart “the perfect man'' or Michelangelo's statue of David and larger, every man, and behind all of us is a skeleton, we are all made up of the same materials, carved out of stone and bone. What does this say about individuality? That we carve out our own paths and futures? Or that maybe we are all not as different as one might think?
