OVTSN
The OV Tenant Network aims to bring tenants together to mutually support each other. No matter if your apartment is in a private house, a duplex, or above a store you should have access to the same rights and supports as a tenant in an apartment building with a tenant association. This network is different from a tenant union as it aims to be more flexible and responsive. It will allow tenants to connect to each other, learn about their rights, and get support in exercising them
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
The OV Tenant Network is developing and right now we are looking for folks to join and promote it to other tenants in OV. A number of community members have been putting posters up in the neighborhood to connect with other tenants who also want to get involved. This network relies on numbers so please see below on how to sign up!
WHO CAN JOIN
Everyone is welcome! The network is specifically geared at tenants in OV and will be supporting them. If you are a homeowner in OV or living outside of OV you are welcome to sign up as a supporting member who can come out and assist or witness when needed. Tenants in OV and Little Jamaica area please sign up to access community support!
HOW TO SIGN UP
If you would like to sign up you can fill out this form. For now if you are facing any issues as a tenant please email ovtenants@gmail.com and we will activate the network. We are aiming to have more direct methods of communication set up soon.
