2025 FIESTA CELEBRATION

Celebrating Cinco De Mayo is not just about drinking beer and eating tacos. It's a celebration recognizing the brave Mexican victory in the Battle of Puebla over the French army. But on Saturday afternoon on May 3rd the OSMHP celebrated Cinco De Mayo with the delicious catered lunch by Maria at Tortilleria La  Rancherita. Once again Bob Florian knocked it out of the Cantina with his Margaritas.  A special thanks goes out to resident Karin Strazewski for sharing a delicious dessert and our sound system person Brian Scott for handling all the music keeping with the theme of the day.

The Cultural entertainment was amazing and we are grateful that they asked for nothing in return but a meal and our gratitude.  Chicas de Doradas or Golden Girls from Palm Vista Center, singer Celia Garza and singer Jose Luis, El Tigre de Guanajuato can be viewed on our OSMHP Facebook page.  Special video of residents can be seen below here.

With almost 100 residents in attendance, thank you to the Recreation Committee for pulling off another amazing event!!!
