On Saturday, June 17, the OSMHP Recreation Committee held a Senior Prom.  Guests arrived at 5:00 and were treated to a beautiful display of appetizers, a beverage station and a photo tent where past High School photos were on display.  At 6:00 dinner of salad, tropical rice, bread, teriyaki chicken and tri tip was served. For dessert there were choices of strawberry shortcake, chocolate dipped strawberries and other yummy treats. At 7:00 the DJ played music getting guests up and on to the dance floor with a variety of music that brought smiles and laughter throughout the evening.

Bob Florian & Becky Folkenberg were named prom king & queen.  Bob was recognized for all of his recycling efforts that help save the planet and brings funds into the recreation committee's coffers.  Becky was recognized for all the hard work she does throughout the year with our events and for promoting  the creative spirit of our park.

Thanks to Kathie Lanker for coordinating the event, Michele West for preparing and displaying the appetizers and desserts and Becky Folkenberg for leading the decorations committee.   Shout out also go to Richard Lanker, our event photographer.  And of course thanks to all who volunteered and to everyone who sent in their RSVP by the deadline, dressed up and showed up for this fun event.
