A seagull, with fishing line wrapped around its body & inside its mouth & with a fish hook lodged into its leg, somehow made it into our pool area.   After limping around the pool for a while, it went into the pool where Brett Stecki could get a hold of it.  From there, Patty Hayes held the bird while Brett meticulously removed the line and hook from its body. George Carr contacted our local animal rescuer, Morgan Williams, who promptly arrived to take the bird where it could receive proper rehab care.  All of this can be seen and enjoyed because of the pictures taken by Richard Lanker.  It takes a village to save a seagull, but first, the seagull needed to ask for help.
