Subject: Employee Breakroom Use
What will be done and who will do it?
New employees must:
Review this procedure.
Be trained by a team leader.
Sign the training checklist.
The breakroom is available for staff to use during the workday.
Use of breakroom:
Lockers may be used to store employee personal items such as clothing, food, and medicine.
Refrigerator may be used to store personal food items. Please name and date all food items and understand foods may be thrown out if they are unlabeled.
Microwave may be used to heat up meals. Please clean up any spills or messes when you are finished using it.
Use the dish sink in the breakroom to wash personal dishes.
DO NOT use the food hub dish washer. This is to avoid introducing food allergens into the processing area.
Don't remove/use utensils or other items from the food hub to use in the breakroom.
Clean up any messes after us and throw out trash into receptacles or recycle bins as applicable.
Wash dishes immediately.
Who will make sure it's done and how?
Team leaders are expected to continually model appropriate breakroom use.
Team leaders shall monitor employee breakroom use
