Sharing options:
READ ONLY permission:
Do not share - only you see the scheme
With all users in this Studio - allows other studio users to view the scheme
With the following User Groups - allows only a select group of studio users to view the scheme.
READ/WRITE permission:
Do not share - only you can edit the scheme
With all users in this Studio - allows other studio users to view, edit, and modify the scheme.
With the following User Groups - allows only a select group of studio users to view, edit, and modify the scheme.
Select your desired sharing options and click Submit.
As the owner of a scheme, regardless of the sharing option selected, ownership belongs to you.
Other user who access your shared schemes can duplicate a scheme and create a new version they own.
Sending a BIM Mail
BIM Mail is a unique feature that allows communication through BIM. In Project a Scheme modes, BIM Mail automatically creates a link to the clicked location. Auto-generatedreferences of a space is a convenient way to communicate via BIM Mail.
Confirmthe project is shared (see above instructions for sharing Schemes)
Go to the Hamburger Icon (upper right, right of the ONUMA logo).
From the drop down, select BIM Mail.
SelectRecipient(s) Note: when sharing with a specific group then the Scheme needs to be shared with that group.
In the Subject box, include a subject
In the Message box, add a short message
Documents allow document attachments (like a photo or an Excel file)
Sendwill deliver the BIM Mail to recipient(s)
Confirming a sent BIM Mail
The confirmation message Success appears
Receive BIM Mail
The BIM Mail message has the link to the location the sender referenced.
User Groups
Do you collaborate with the same group within your ONUMA Studio? Set up User Groups.
To create a User Group:
At the bottom of the Sharing page, select Edit / add user groups
Click Create Group
To edit a User Group:
Click on the User Group you want to edit.
Add Studio Users to your group
To edit a User Group:
As the Group Owner you may Lock or Unlock the group (lock means only you can add users to the group, and unlock means any group user can add users to the group).
Select users with access to this Studio on the right. Move them to the Group Members section on the left by clicking on the arrow in the middle.
