An energetic, Braeburn trained PGCEi teacher with a strong desire to make a difference in promoting a child’s individual development by providing a dynamic, creative approach to learning and age-appropriate nurturing in a safe and happy environment seeking teaching opportunities in international schools.
I completed my PGCEi qualification while undergoing teacher training with Braeburn Schools, Kenya. I have undertaken several safeguarding courses on EduCare.co.uk to equip me with knowledge and skills to safeguard children, young people and adults. When I am not teaching, I'm researching ideas on how to foster individual development and achievement in children, making DIY board games and learning foreign languages.
I encourage my pupils to engage in valuable multi-cultural interactions resulting in appreciation of diversity and personal development. I recently influenced a pupil to drop a stereotype towards another religion and race and to embrace oneness while fostering mutual respect in the school. My involvement in both in and out of class activities models an all- round ethic in pupils and inspire them to excel in both studies and extra-curricular activities. I help students to understand that the amount of energy they use in extracurricular activities is the same amount of energy they need to excel in academics which improves class achievement.
I believe that I can contribute creatively to existing methods in the practice of teaching. While I understand that conventional teaching methods must be respected, I believe that the development of a creative teaching style ultimately rests with the individual. I look forward to helping children learn and understand the world while meeting the teacher's standards.
I understand that teaching is a lot more about the overall improvement of the future and it goes way longer than the end of a school day. From my experience as a teacher in the Braeburn Schools, I know how challenging and exhausting teaching children can be but not without its great rewards which by far outweigh the challenges. I am enthusiastically looking forward to developing my skills, so that I can extensively impact this field.
As a result of my interaction with students, they feel significant, empowered, inspired and ready for life challenges in the global world. They are able to appreciate the value of education and the in-depth knowledge of the world they live in. My dedication and commitment to foster pupils’ learning and development will greatly and positively impact any school.
